Applying to Graduate

To be considered for graduation, students are required to complete a degree audit and graduation application with their advisor or advising coordinator. Students should contact the advising coordinator in their college for more information on completing the graduation application and audit. Submission of a graduation application does not guarantee degree conferral.

A student who fails to complete the degree during the intended semester has one calendar year to complete the degree or they must reapply for graduation. Completion of the requirements for graduation will be noted on transcripts at the end of the semester the requirements are met.

Diplomas are printed after completion of degree requirements is verified for all graduates, approximately eight weeks after the end of the semester. Each graduate will be informed via UAFS email that their diploma is ready and may be picked up at the Registrar’s Office. In this email, graduates are given the option of requesting that the diploma be mailed to an address they specify.
