Heather Chance serves as the veteran services coordinator at the University of Ï㽶ÊÓƵAPP – Fort Smith (UAFS) and has more than a decade of experience supporting student success. She oversees the administration of military education benefits for veterans and their dependents, providing individualized guidance on VA benefits, financial aid, and campus resources.
Heather joined UAFS in 2017 and previously served at North Ï㽶ÊÓƵAPP College in veteran services and student success roles. A first-generation, non-traditional graduate, she is passionate about removing barriers for students and currently serves on the UAFS First-Generation Student Success Committee.
